About the Illustrator
"I have experimented with various forms of painting.
Illustrating books allows me to bring the characters and stories
to life in my mind, like a movie flashing through my head.
This stimulates my desire to use my hand to draw or paint them
and tests my ability to observe the subtleties of life.
There have been times when I have painted without achieving
the desired effect, which could be frustrating.
However, when successful, the entire process is immensely enjoyable.”

并且将书中的人物和故事活化起来，像电影一样在脑中闪动，
从而产生动手绘画描述的冲动，有时很考验自己对生活观察的细微程度，

Zhang Ming-ming (Ming-ming Cheung), whose family is originally from Anhui, was born
in Sichuan. Her works include the following murals and illustrations:

Zhang Ming-ming currently resides in Virginia, USA. Now retired, she devotes her time to painting and teaching.
