              <text>This is a hyperlink to a decision of the Supreme Court of Canada in the Chaput v. Romain (1955) case.  The case involved members of the provincial police who broke up a meeting that was conducted by a minister of the &#13;
Jehovah’s Witnesses in the appellant’s house. They seized a Bible, hymn books and pamphlets and ordered the witnesses to disperse. This entry and seizure was done without a warrant. The appellant, the Jehovah's Witness minister, sued the members of the police force for damages.  The Supreme Court upheld that the claim and held that damages should be assessed at $2000.</text>
