<text>This is an article from the magazine, <em>Canadian Dimension</em>. It describes tensions between Secwepemc, Neskonlith and Adams Lake bands and developers seeking to build Sun Peak recreation facilities for golf and skiing on the traditional territories of the bands. The Indigenous People argue that this territory has never been ceded and that the development of the Sun Peaks resort encroaches on this territory. The People further argue that the federal government has not met its fiduciary duty to consult with them about the use of the land. For its part, the federal government refused to recognize Aborginal title to the land because the Secwepemc have not entered into the land claims process.</text>
