The top section is of Thomas. He is standing facing right with his hands in prayer. He is in full armor but no helmet. He has long hair to his chin with bangs. His armor includes placates, pauldrons, tuilles, bainbergs, sabatons and rowel spurs. He is standing on grass. The bottom section is of his 11 sons in 2 rows. The top row is 7 larger boys and 4 smaller boys farther left. All of the boys are facing right and his hands in prayer. They all have straight hair to their chin with bangs but are in robes not armor. Their robes go to their ankles they have tight sleeves and plain collars. Their shoes are visible. This rubbing is missing his wife Sybell the daughter of Richard Hampden and their 7 daughters.
