Description
This video captures the immediate after-math of Marty McSorley's on-ice assault of Donald Brashear during an NHL game in February 2000. McSorley violently slashed Brasher by striking him in the head with his hockey stick. (See video at approximately 0:01:54.) McSorley was later charged with and convicted of assault with a weapon contrary to the Canadian Criminal Code.
