"Hic iacet \domina/ Anna Phelyp vidua quondam | uxor David Phelyp militis domina de |
Thorno in comitate Northamptoun et Isen |
h\a/mstede cheyne in comitate Buk que obiit |
primo die Augusti Anno domini Mo CCCCC
deenno cuius anime propiciet deus amen."
In hands:
"Credo q[uod] "
Left scroll:
"redemptor meus vivit | et in novisimo die de terra surrecturus sum"
Right scroll:
"Et in carne | <mea videbo deum salvatorem meum>"
The Scroll quotations are taken from the responsorium: "Credo quod redemptor meus vivit et in novissimo die de terra surrecturus sum. Et in carne mea videbo deum salvatorem meum."
The English Translation is:
"Here lies \lady/ Anne Philip, widow, former wife of David Philip, knight lady of Thornhaw in Northamptonshire and Isenhampsted-Chenies in Buckinghamshire who died on the first day of August in the year of our Lord 1510, on whose soul God have mercy amen. I believe that my redeemer lives | and on the last day I will be resurrected from the earth
and in my flesh I will see God my savior.

Description of Rubbing: There are 4 different sections to this rubbing.
There are 4 shields. The top left shield is split in half vertically. The left side has 3 icons and the right side has a large cross with 5 stars inside the cross.
The top right shield looks to be the same or very similar to the top left.
The bottom left shield sits under the canopy leg. It is a shield with a large cross and 5 stars in it.
The bottom right shield is also under a canopy leg and has a large cross-hatched cross.
