Notes on the Parchment: "William and Margery Whappelode Chalfort St. Peter 1446"
Description of Rubbing: William is on the left. He is facing forward and in full plate armor with his hands praying. He has short hair and is not wearing a helmet.
His sword is laying vertically on his right side. He has 11 taces on his midriff. He is also stepping in a dog.
The dog is laying at his feet facing left. Its head is above his left foot and the dogs behind and tail are at his right foot. The dog is looking up and has no collar.
Margery is on the right. She is also facing forward and has praying hands. She is wearing a horned headdress and veil. She has a long cape and slightly pleated dress. The cape has a button enclosure at the top near the neck.
There is a dog at her right side at the bottom of the dress. It is facing left and has a collar with bells on. They both have bold lines and very little shading.
