Notes on the Parchment: "Thornton Robert Ingylton & 3 wives 1472"
Description of Rubbing: Robert is in full plate armor except his head is bare and he has short hair. He is standing on a grassy mound with his hands praying. His sword is sitting at his waist and leaning diagonally to the right. The armor is very detailed.
The three wives (one to the left of him and two to the right of him) are identical. They are all wearing low rounded cut fur-trimmed kirtles and horned head dresses. Their hands are praying and their dresses have pleats and folds. They are also detailed.
