Notes on the Parchment: "Abbot Estney 1498"
Description of Rubbing: He is standing forward with his hand on the left raised with the thumb and two fingers pointing up and the hand on the right holding a crosier with a rounded decorative top.
There is a thick embroidered collar and embroidery down the middle and along the edges. The embroidery matches the designs and gems in the double peaked mitre formed headdress. There are many robes and layers all with either embroidery, fringe and crosshatching details.
