Provost Inscription:
There are 8 lines of inscription broken up into two sections. The first section to the left in Latin is:
Marmor hoc Henrici Bost ossa tegit dedit illi
Moribus et studio candida vita decus
Artibus et sacre potatum fonte sophie.
Ornauit titulis pluribus Oxonium
Illius auspiciis elemosina coniugis uncti
Edwardi quarti larga pluebat opem
Huius collegii dextro moderamine habenas
Prepositus tenuit nec secus hic obiit.
The section to the right in Latin is:
Nanque quod est patris quod prepositi moriturus
Dotauit sponsam pignore parpetuo
Sunt alii plures tituli cum laude ferenda
Facta viri breuitas que reticere iubet
Post ter quingentos vertebat tercius annus
A puero Christo stamina nigra trahens
Februa septeno iam lux regnabat in orbe
Cum rapuit mundo tercia parca virum

Notes on the Parchment: "Canon Lupton Provost Eton College 1540" (this label is wrong Roger Lupton has a scroll and different robes)
Description of Rubbing: The rubbing is in 2 sections.
The male figure is facing forward with his hands in prayer. His hair is to his ears. He has a ruffled shoulder cape with a large neck cowl. There are many robes with many layers and pleats, no embroidery or fringe. There are tight sleeves underneath and large sleeves on top.
The second section is a box of inscription separated in half.
