Canadian Public Figures on Tape

Canadian Public Figures on Tape

During the late 1960's and early 1970's, Dr. Richard Alway conducted a series of interviews on tape in affiliation with OISE. The series, called "Canadian Public Figures on Tape", consists of six interviews ranging in 30 minutes to 1 hour, and was meant to address a lack of contemporary subject material in Canadian history courses. Interview subjects include Lester Pearson, John Diefenbaker, René Lévesque, Maurice Lamontange, Tommy Douglas, and Walter Gordon.
