Clothing
The Iranian Doll is seen wearing traditional clothes from the Gilan province of Iran, more specifically from the town of Qasemabad-e Sofla. This attire is meant for special occasions such as weddings or other ceremonies. The outfit consists of a dastmal (shawl/scarf), pirhan (shirt), jelez,/jelīqe/ jərqa (vest), and a tuman (skirt) layered over trousers.
Find the softest material near you. How does it feel? Is it silk? Most of traditional Gilaki clothing is made with silk since it is a major product for export from the Caspian region. Chances are the clothes the Iranian Doll is depicting are even softer than what you found!
