Academic Literature
In this section of the resource library you will find a list of sources that fall under six categories:
- Housing, Gentrification & New Urbanism
- Media Production & Mis/Representations
- Public Space
- Regent Park-Specific Articles
- Religion, Faith & Planning
- Social Mixing & Revitalization
- Theses
Many of the references on the list were gathered from peer-reviewed journal articles. The majority of these articles lie behind paywalls and we are not able to share the articles in their entirety. Provided is the full citation for each reference, the abstract (where possible), key words identified by the author, as well as tags that we have identified as related to each source. University students and faculty should be able to access all of these sources through their respective online library systems.
This list (excluding the Regent Park-specific articles) is not meant to be a comprehensive list on each of the categories. Rather, as many of the sources discuss concepts and theories that can be considered in the context of the ongoing redevelopment of Regent Park, we have also included those in this list for anyone interested.
