This document is a head tax certificate issued to Chong Do Dang, age 10. Once a Chinese migrant paid the required head tax, the individual would be issued a certificate like this one.
Description of Rubbing: Standing forward. No hands are showing the right one holds a heater shaped shield and the left holds a lance.
The shield and pennant on the lance both have a chevron on them.
