January 1961: Draft History Declassified

In January 1961, after downgrading the draft's security classification, the US Atomic Energy Commission notified the Canadians that the draft history was now unclassified. Despite extensive consultation, deliberation, and revision, the tripartite history was never published by the three governments, rather released after years of inactivity.
