25 March 1955: British Amendments

This collection of documents reviews British amendments to the draft history. This includes a list of their suggestions as well as a complete redraft which show the wide range of issues the UK government had to consider. Chief among them was the issue of publishing the document and whether or not to omit certain lines which would be “embarrassing” to the United Kingdom.

Clark to Pritchard, 25 Mar. 1955, LAC, RG 25, vol. 5957, file no. 50219-AF-40, part 1.
