Conclusion
Using our collections, this exhibit provides a brief history of dental prosthesis, over classical civilisations and early modern European history and additionally highlights developments of dental prosthesis in the 19th century specifically. Revisiting past techniques is important in tracing the development of the best practices used today. It is valuable to learn and remember how dental prosthesis originated and to preserve this knowledge for future generations of medical historians.
