HOW CAN I LISTEN TO THE INTERVIEWS?

The interviews were originally recorded onto open reels that were condensed, edited, and sold as commercial cassette tapes. The edited interview tape recording for each politician can be found on their corresponding page. Surviving recordings of the full unedited interviews are also provided for each subject when available. All audio files are accompanied by downloadable PDF transcripts.
