Fighting the Fire

We heard that firefighters made valiant efforts to protect books in the library. They certainly battled to keep the fire from spreading through the new part of the building, or to neighbouring buildings. When the army of firefighters brought the fire under control by morning, I was there with many other students standing in water among fire hoses spread like spaghetti.
