This illustrated guidebook offers a detailed visual and textual journey through Mount Omei, one of China’s sacred Buddhist mountains. Featuring intricate woodblock prints and descriptive passages, it guides readers through the mountain’s geography, temples, and significant pilgrimage sites. It was gifted to Jim and Mary Endicott by the translator, Dryden Phelps, a colleague at West China Union University, who marked the cover with a heartfelt inscription. It reads, “We know you love China as we do.”
