Primary sources

This section includes primary sources in the form of documents, memoirs, and journals.

The documents include programs of party congresses, reports by the Austrian Society of the Red Cross, statutes of different societies, collections of laws and regulations, as well as a register of names (book of mourning) of soldiers killed in action while fighting for the Ukrainian Galician Army. There are memoirs by officers and soldiers of the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen and the Ukrainian Galician Army.

The journals were published primarily abroad, either by Ukrainians in Vienna or in prisoner-of-war camps in Austria, Germany, or Czechoslovakia.
