The Myhal Centre for Engineering Innovation & Entrepreneurship will be the newest engineering space on campus when it is completed in 2018. The building will feature a variety of spaces to enhance student learning and promote cutting edge research and innovation.

Features of the new building include:

  • State-of-the-art auditorium featuring group seating and interactive technology, the first of its kind in North America

  • Technology enhanced active learning (TEAL) rooms

  • Fabrication and prototyping facilities for students

  • Multidisciplinary design and research space

  • Sustainability features including solar panels, a green roof, and passive heating and cooling systems [25]
