The Rule of Law in Canada

A strong rule of law tradition ensures that the inhabitants of a state have enough trust in the institutions of the country to not resort to violence when they want political change.  In Canada, we see lots of peaceful protests, and virtually no violent ones.  When the rule of law is strong, politically motivated violence is mitigated.
